As we move further into 2024, we are thrilled to report significant progress in our continuous improvement plan. We are proud to announce that we have successfully satisfied the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 (accredited by UKAS) under the following scope:
“The Design, Manufacture and Supply of Additive Manufactured Products and Services”
This achievement confirms that SGD 3D consistently operates at the highest standards of quality assurance and validation for 3D-printed parts, fully complying with the ISO 9001 standard
Sam Gribben, our CEO, commented:
“Achieving ISO 9001:2015 is a significant milestone on our roadmap. I am proud of the entire team and would like to thank our quality partner, Clear Quality, for helping us ensure our QMS system met the standard’s requirements.”
This is a real testament to the in-house knowledge and expertise of the whole SGD 3D team and the custom-built QMS.
Gribben added, “This accreditation does not alter our day-to-day operations, and customers can continue to expect the same high level of quality and service throughout the entire process. We hope that meeting these certification requirements will streamline the onboarding of B2B customers and enable us to operate more efficiently in heavily regulated sectors. Starting from July 26, 2025, all orders will officially be processed in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, a practice we have already been following for some time.”
